About
Scott Burk
Scott Burk is a lifelong resident of Toronto.
His longstanding regard for storytelling, books, golf, and this city's history are at the heart of this publication. Despite the best efforts of teaching professional Dave Richardson and Dudley Jones, Scott continues to take the club back quick and inside. He and his family live on one of Toronto's lost golf courses.
Joanne Doucette
Joanne Doucette is a local historian who lives near the original Toronto Golf Club. A former chair of the Toronto Public Library Board, Joanne co-founded the Leslieville Historical Society. She grew up in Pickering Township and golfed in the family's back field with two clubs, a beat-up ball, and several flowerpots.
